Honey I'm Home

Honey I'm Home, consisting of members from outfits Marathon, Jagd and Banji played shows with Girl in Red, Goat Girl, Hotline TNT, and Blood Wizard in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands.

The five-piece merges ‘90s alternative rock with a fresh, modern twist. Echoes of My Bloody Valentine, Smashing Pumpkins, and Slow Pulp resonate through their unique blend of shoegaze and indie with a hint of emo.
Although Honey I’m Home is still a new presence on the scene, they’ve already made an impressive impact. They’ve opened for Goat Girl in Berlin and Hotline TNT in Amsterdam, performed at Girl in Red’s show at the AFAS Live, and completed two UK tours, i.e. supporting Blood Wizard. Their live performances are full of dynamic range, seamlessly shifting from intimate moments to explosive climaxes, blending layered guitars with deeply personal lyrics.

Beyond their musical influences, Honey I’m Home is visually influenced by the eerie, dark atmosphere of VHS horror. This haunting aesthetic intertwines with the melancholy of shoegaze, incorporating nostalgic elements of Super 8 film and dark fantasy. These visual elements form a vital part of the band’s artistic identity.
