The likeable student could have been your favourite grandson, were it not for the distinctive flow of vulgar words erupting from his mouth. Gotu Jim—translated freely from sranang; Golden Jim— debuted late last year with his Tweede Klas EP released on Burning Fik: the brand-new label by Faberyayo and Abel. This was closely followed by his revolutionary debut album Generation K in November 2019 and a sold-out tour throughout The Netherlands.
